To be eligible for a funded SKE course you must have a conditional offer for a teacher training course and the completion of the SKE course must be a condition of your offer. For Teach First applicants, your ITT contractor must have made a recommendation for the completion of an SKE course. In addition you must also have at least a lower second class honours degree and be eligible for student finance. Overseas participants are eligible for SKE courses in French, Spanish and Physics regardless of their residency status. All other entry requirements still apply. If you have completed a degree in a matching subject within the last 5 years, you will not be eligible for an SKE course. If you are unsure, please get in touch ske@yhtt.ac.uk.
