Geography
Participants on one of our Geography courses all have access to the Virtual Lessons and GCSE resources.
Virtual Lessons by VIDLEARN® is a comprehensive set of on-demand GCSE lessons that cover the latest exam specifications across a range of GCSE subjects. Our interactive videos feature Starters, Learning Outcomes, Learning Activities and Plenaries. Each lesson features timed learning activities with a review period that allows participants to self-assess their learning.
You will enjoy access to all of this for two further years following completion of your course.

Eligibility and enrolling on a course
SKE courses in Geography are not funded by the DfE in 2024/25 for those starting teacher training in September 2025.

Geography- 8 week (200 hours)
​ACCELERATED GCSE SKE
Our Accelerated GCSE course is ideal for candidates needing to boost or refresh their subject knowledge to GCSE level.
The 8-week or 200-hour course is structured to take trainees through the DfE specifications up to GCSE. Trainees have access to many optional modules that they are free to use to supplement their learning.

The Enhanced GCSE course is designed for candidates needing additional support to boost or refresh their subject knowledge to GCSE.
This 12-week or 300-hour course allows trainees to use our GCSE Virtual Lessons resources that are incorporated into the KS3 module. These lessons support trainees’ studies on the GCSE module.
